The genial blue. The sparkling white. As beautiful as anything on the Amalfi Coast. It’s just a stretch of sky. But sometimes all you need is a stretch of sky. I never noticed this building before. I walk down this street countless times.
It’s a narrow hill with few trees, lined with the backs of homes, buildings and a hotel. It’s a backstreet. It’s a short cut. It’s a place you go to get someplace else. It’s where the trash trucks cruise. It’s where people take smoke breaks. It’s one of those places that’s unexpectedly beautiful.
